District of Columbia 311 Map
The
District of Columbia’s 311 Map allows you to see 311 Service Requests by
location, date (2days, 7days and 30 days) and Status.
These
service requests are received by the Office
of Customer Service Operations of the Office of Unified
Communications (OUC) through the Mayor's Call Center (311), citizens web intake, electronic and US mail service or
via other methods of communication.
The data
shown for service requests on this application are automatically accessed and
updated every hour Monday to Sunday.
Attributes
- Where
- this is the primary method of navigating the map to specific locations.
Any of the below can be entered into this form:
- STREET ADDRESS: An address
consists of a street number, a street name, and a quadrant (NE, NW, SE, SW). The address number and street name are required.
Every address in the MAR as also been assigned an AID#
(Address Identification Number) which can be used to retrieve additional
data about that address.

- INTERSECTION: An
Intersection consists of two streets
Example: 14th ST NW and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, or
14th ST NW & Pennsylvania Avenue NW, or 16th ST NW over Military RD
NW, or Military RD NW under 16th ST NW
- BLOCK: A block
consists of a street and any other cross streets.
Example: 4th
ST NW from D Street NW to E Street NW or 400 Block of 4th St
NW
- PLACE NAME: A place name
consists of common place names and public/institutional building names.
Example: "White
House" or "Dupont Circle" or
"Wilson Building" or "Wilson High School" or "Woodrow
Wilson House"

on a Service Request icon you can view:
- Complaint
Type - Description of service requests
- Created
Date - Date service request was created
- Status
- Status of the service
- Open
- indicates the service request has not been completed
- Closed
(includes Closed overdue) - indicates the service
request has been completed
- Open
overdue- indicates the service
request has not been completed and overdue
- Agency
- responsible agency
